How NextPay notifies you and your recipients about payout updates
Will I get notified about payout status?
Yes, NextPay sends notifications at key stages of the payout lifecycle:
For you (the sender):
- Payout submitted — Confirmation that the payout has been queued for processing.
- Payout completed — Notification when funds have been successfully credited to the recipient.
- Payout failed — Alert if the payout could not be processed, including the reason for failure.
For your recipients:
- Recipients can optionally receive an email notification when a payout is sent to them. You can enable or disable recipient notifications from Settings > Notifications.
Notifications are delivered via email and as in-app notifications in the NextPay dashboard. You can configure notification preferences for your account from the Settings page.
If you are using the NextPay API or CLI, you can also subscribe to webhook events for real-time programmatic updates on payout status changes.
